Bulldog Alumni,
At the end of January, our school experienced a small fire that, fortunately, was quickly contained. While the incident itself was minor, it resulted in significant smoke damage, prompting a thorough cleaning of the entire building—including our Alumni Room.
Although nothing was lost or damaged, we’re using this moment as an opportunity to refresh, reorganize, and enhance the space. As we continue building a room that celebrates our rich history, I’d like to invite you to be a part of it.
If you have any unique (not just sports) memorabilia, artifacts, or items of interest that you believe would add to our already incredible Alumni Room, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can contact me at calvin.thompson@kckps.org.

Friday night, February 20, 2026 was truly a special evening—one that has been a long time in the making.

Bulldog, Jayhawk Connections!
In the proud history of the University of Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball program, there has been a remarkable connection with the Wyandotte Bulldog basketball program and its state championship teams.
19 Bulldogs that have played in the Jayhawks program over its storied history. Of those 19 Bulldogs, 16 have been members of Wyandotte’s state championship teams.
